WHAT IS BESPOKE DESIGN?
Bespoke design means creating a completely original piece that’s entirely yours. We begin with a conversation about your story, style, and budget, then collaborate to design something truly one-of-a-kind. From gemstone to setting, every detail is tailored to you. CAN YOU TRANSFORM A PIECE I ALREADY OWN?
Absolutely. We specialise in reimagining heirlooms and unworn jewellery—honouring its past while giving it new life. Using your original stones or metal where possible, we’ll craft a personal piece with fresh relevance.
HOW LONG DOES A CUSTOM OR REIMAGINED PIECE TAKE?
Typically, 4–6 weeks. This includes a 1–2 week consultation to refine your design. Timings vary depending on complexity and material availability, and we’ll keep you updated at every stage.
HOW LONG IS MY QUOTE VALID?
Quotes are valid for 30 days, subject to changes in gold pricing, gemstone availability, and making costs. After this, we may need to revise the quote.
CAN YOU EXPEDITE MY ORDER?
Where possible, yes. Our standard lead time is 5–8 weeks, but if you have a special date in mind, let us know early—we’ll always do our best to accommodate.
DO YOU PROVIDE VALUATIONS?
Yes. Independent valuations are complimentary for bespoke pieces and available at an additional cost for reimagined designs. Please allow 1–2 extra weeks for this service.
CAN I REUSE MY OWN DIAMONDS OR GEMSTONES?
Yes, if suitable. We’ll assess your stones to ensure they’re appropriate for your new piece before proceeding.
WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NATURAL AND LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS?
Both have the same physical and chemical properties—the difference lies in origin. Lab-grown diamonds offer sustainable value; natural diamonds are prized for their rarity. We work with both and can source antique-style cuts for a heritage aesthetic.
ARE YOUR DIAMONDS CERTIFIED?
Yes. All diamonds over 0.50ct are independently certified, most commonly by GIA or IGI, ensuring their quality and authenticity.
ARE YOUR PIECES ETHICALLY MADE?
Yes. We prioritise recycled gold, ethical sourcing, and lab-grown stones wherever possible. Our Vintage & Reloved pieces also offer inherent sustainability.
WHERE ARE YOUR CUSTOM PIECES MADE?
All custom pieces are handcrafted in Melbourne by trusted artisans. We personally source each gemstone and oversee the process from start to finish.
HOW DO I FIND MY RING SIZE?
We offer a printable sizing guide or can post you an adjustable ring sizer for $6. One complimentary resize is available within 30 days of receiving your ring.
DO YOU ACCEPT RETURNS?
We accept returns on full-priced Vintage & Reloved pieces if requested within 3 days of delivery. Items must be in original condition with tracking and insurance. Bespoke, custom, and sale items are final sale.
CAN I RETURN OR CANCEL MY CUSTOM ORDER?
Bespoke orders are final once production has commenced. A 50% deposit is required to begin, with the balance due on completion.
DO YOUR PIECES COME WITH A WARRANTY?
Yes. New jewellery is covered by a 6-month warranty against manufacturing faults. Vintage pieces are carefully inspected but should be worn with care due to their age.
DO YOU OFFER REPAIRS?
We offer repairs on Signature Vintage pieces. Each repair is assessed and quoted individually with respect to the item’s age and condition.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Afterpay. Bespoke orders require a 50% deposit to commence.
CAN I BOOK A VIEWING?
While primarily an online studio, we offer viewings by appointment and host private events from time to time. Join our mailing list to stay in the loop.
DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?
Yes. Gift cards are available and all orders arrive in Signature Vintage packaging. Gift wrapping is available on request.
HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY JEWELLERY?
Store pieces separately, avoid exposure to moisture or chemicals, and handle vintage items with extra care. Reach out if you’d like help with cleaning or maintenance.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL AN ORDER?
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes if your order hasn’t entered production or been shipped. Please get in touch immediately. Note: deposits are non-refundable.
WHY HAVE YOUR PRICES CHANGED RECENTLY?
Over the past year, global gold prices have surged—almost doubling in AUD due to both rising market rates and the declining Australian dollar. As a result, the cost of materials has increased significantly.
While we’ve adjusted some prices to reflect these changes, we’ve absorbed a large portion of the rise ourselves. Our goal remains the same: to keep Signature Vintage pieces as accessible as possible, without ever compromising on quality, craftsmanship, or our slow luxury standards.

All parcels are express and fully insured via Australia Post.
– Australia: $10 flat rate (free over $500), 2–5 business days
– New Zealand: $25, 5–8 business days
